CORE PRODUCTS
Building Information Model (BIM)
The foundation for all project analysis is a basic BIM, which utilizes technology to build a 3D model from the A/E plans. Schematic or construction options are available. Pricing is based on square footage and building complexity.
Virtual Request for Information (VRFI)
The VRFI is Virtual Build’s signature product and is the most powerful tool for next generation building. This in-depth report utilizes 3D parametrics to detect errors, omissions and clashes throughout the A/E plans. This intelligence facilitates solutions prior to construction, maximizing time and money throughout the development process.
ADVANCED ANALYSIS
Clash View Report
This report generates visual images of selected errors, clashes and omission to facilitate collaborative solutions by easily allowing all involved parties to “see” detected problems.
Construction Mark Up Report
Provided in conjunction with the VRFI, this report actually marks up the A/E plans to spotlight problem areas, facilitating executable items for your A/E team to rework.
Preliminary Energy Analysis Report
Third-party software analyzes the BIM to provide a comprehensive energy and cost summary estimate that details carbon neutral potential, water usage/cost, photovoltaic potential, LEED day lighting potential, wind energy potential and natural ventilation potential. The report also offers ENERGY STAR reporting at a 3D VRML view of the project.
Solar and Shading Report
Analysis examines how natural light interacts with both the exterior and the interior of the building. This report consists of several static images indicating shade and shadow at selected times/days of the year. A brief video can be requested to indicate the sun path on any given day of the year (extra charge applies).
Renderings
Photorealistic renderings can be created from any viewpoint in the interior or exterior of the building. These renderings serve as excellent visualization tools that can be used for fundraising, pre-leasing/selling office space or condominium units and/or easing the approvals process in aesthetically sensitive locations, such as historic districts.
Cost Analysis Report
Virtual Build can take any component of a project and match it against a 3rd party cost database to better understand cost overruns.
Bill of Materials
BIM intelligence can generate an accurate inventory list of all materials and products units with a project.
Virtual Construction Administration (VCM)
Incorporating BIM into the post-construction process is just as important as utilizing it pre-construction. Be sure to have Virtual Build generate an accurate post-project BIM that reflects your project in as–built condition. This tool is invaluable and can serve as visual file cabinet—providing a broad, interactive record of inventory, spatial relationships, maintenance records, building occupancy and more.
